There’s been a welcome upsurge in the number of bikes on the road in Brighton in the past couple of years. And with the upsurge, there’s also more in the way of interesting machines on the road, as well as more bike based events.

Wacky Wheelers – September 2009
Bit of a last minute affair this one, but excellent fun. The idea was to get a few of the more unusual looking bikes onto the streets of Brighton for a ride. Timed to coincide with Car Free Day, the event started on the seafront and ended on the Lewes Road at the Community Garden.

Well, I’ll let the video speak for itself, except to say that there were 700+ people there, the sun was shining, the music was good and we had a fine time.
