The latest in the new craze towards power on the road, the E-Werk transforms your hub dynamo (assuming you’ve got one) into a charging facility for your phone, gps, i-pod, indeed anything that has a charge requirement up to 13.3 volts. According to Busch and Muller, at 15kph (approx 9mph), the E-Werk will charge as fast as a mains charger.
I can’t comment on the pros and cons of this device because I haven’t got one, although it’s my birthday in February, so if anybody’s feeling benevolent…
